We have lots of different ways to move items around the lab and to other locations as well as off the lab campus using standard and specialty shipping methods.
Mail Suites are for the US Postal Service (USPS) to deliver mail directly to the post box located at your building, either for your section’s administrator to sort or to your box.
The Mailstop can be located in the same area but is used for interoffice/inter departmental mail. Typically these are sent in brown envelopes with the tie string.
JLAB official business mail is stamped by the postage machine in the S&R section. For packages under 36” sq3 and under 25 lbs. we have a contract with UPS, but we can use any carrier.
