Access to Jefferson Lab

Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) is a U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science National Laboratory.  As explained in full in our Guest Access Policy, it is the duty of Jefferson Lab to provide safe access to all staff and guests, while maintaining compliance with U.S. Department of Energy requirements.

This website will help aid in determining site access requirements, how to apply for such privileges, and points of contact for any questions or concerns. Individuals interested in access to Jefferson Lab must submit an access request at least seven days prior to their requested access start date. Requests will be reviewed, then the guest will receive an email when their access request is fully processed. Please do not arrive onsite until the registration process is completed and access is confirmed.
