The QuantOm Collaboration is developing a unique event-level inference framework to obtain quark and gluon tomography of nucleons and nuclei from high-energy scattering data. This new event-level approach stands to have a transformational impact on the data analysis workflow that connects theory with experiment, and will help ensure that current and future facilities, such as Jefferson Lab and the Electron-Ion Collider, deliver on their science mission to reveal the inner structure of the visible universe at the femtometer scale.
