TJNAF maintains its fire protection and suppression systems & capabilities to minimize losses from fire and related hazards consistent with the highly protected risk1 (HPR) status in private industry. This Fire Protection Program (FPP) provides the procedures used to implement this commitment by incorporating fire safety into work processes, facility planning, operations, and maintenance activities.
A HWP is required when hot work, including Tungsten Inert Gas/Metal Inert Gas (TIG/MIG) welding, is performed outside a designated area.
