Contract, federal, state, and local requirements often require that activities are be performed in a certain manner. Jefferson Lab also requires workers to be trained prior to performing certain activities pertaining to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H) issues. This chapter provides the method used to determine worker’s ES&H training requirements, the different types of training available, and how training courses are developed.
